There isn't really much differences between from 'shounen' to 'seinen' in Young Jump.

he was looking for fights, and colorful fantasy(maybe), so i was wondering what of it he was feeling to be missing from uratarou, and what else is there in its place

I actually don't get what he was asking for. I thought he was asking whether Uratrou goes into shounen or seinen category.

It looks like to be, there is already folklore into it. which is usual in the Yokai themed sources, but it goes more into the story telling and the environment elements of it opposed to 'A Demon, must kill it'. The latest development for example, which is more about characterization than anything, something which I truly enjoy these days.

nah, it wasn't about the category, but more about the kind of content, he used as examples naruto and one piece, which have fights and fantasy as main focus

which is one of the popular meanings for 'shounen', when it's defined not by the magazine publishing it, but by the content, or the balance of genres in it

ah ok, so when you said to want decent shounens you were talking about more fast paced, fight filled, series? (for negative's understanding :u )

I'm not sure Youkai and Demon stuff consider just for shounen.

But, there are many fantasy action series in seinen category as well. So, I don't really see that only restricted for shounen.

guess it's about the balance of those genres vs the other genres used
are fantasy and fights the 90% of the story? that's generally considered shounen
are fantasy and fights part of the story, but not over 50/70% of it? that's less shounen

fantasy is less relevant than fight, it's mostly the relevance/focus of fights to cut the line

this in the 'popular' meaning of shounen/seinen

That is based on one's own perception. Like I wanted to know if Insane Soul wants to read either "shounen fantasy action series" or "general fantasy action series.

since the regular and popular meaning are different, it's difficult to try to find one while using the other set of meanings
going with general would be the safest bet i think, regardless of the regular demographic shounen/seinen labels used

He should be more clearer about whether he wants general fantasy action series or just shounen. The conversation which we had in the beginning was about "shounen," then bringing up Uratarou ("seinen" series) makes me really confusing.

Like does he wants to know if I think Uratarou considered "shounen" series? If I said it isn't, then he'll not going to read it?

"Like does he wants to know if I think Uratarou considered "shounen" series?"

probably he was meaning that in the popular sense

Well, if that is his question, then my answer is no.

Yes, it does have mostly fantasy/action elements, but its expression of those elements (or even other scenes) aren't really for shounen magazine. If Uratarou was serialized in shounen magazine, then it would have more restrictions to it and I think its "craziness" has being decreased. So, I considered Uratarou as "seinen" series (even though it is mainstream fantasy/action series).

I recommend the top one (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken). It is kind of like slime version of One Punch-man, but it is very good and interesting series. But, it doesn't have much action parts (it is more about country building).
