DC superheroes wars:
Injustice
Justice League vs SS.
The very fact this isn't a morality issue makes things believable and not cringe worthy
DC handles moral conflicts in a drastically different way than Marvel does, along with superhero vs superhero. Marvel makes a big event out of it every time. DC had one big event, that I can think of, in Identity Crisis, which didn't actually see superheroes fighting one another physically. It then had a fallout that played out over multiple different series. Probably the thing about it that's most similar to Civil War is that it was wrapped up by being handwaved after the Infinite Crisis and One Year Later. Beyond that, questions of morality are typically handled within solo series, such as Wonder Woman killing Maxwell Lord or Batman's Brother Eye thing. Heck, even Zatanna mindwiping people was covered more in other series, like The Flash and Batman/Detective Comics, than it was in any major event that came after Identity Crisis.
Then, when you have superheroes fighting one another, it's also not really the core concept of a major event. It'll also be in solo series, as some small little conflict. The most (in)famous is probably Batman vs Superman, such as in Dark Knight Returns, an Elseworlds tale where Superman's become a stooge of the U.S. government, or Batman Hush, where Superman's being mind controlled by Poison Ivy.
Thinking about it, I think that this has all worked out much better for DC than it has for Marvel.
