What's wrong with this guy? Seriously.

Not only does he try to get the names of everyone working on climate change science, but now he's trying to get names of people working on violent extremism (foreign and domestic). SOURCE. So the Departments of: Energy, State, and Homeland Security are somehow on his hit list. Why?

I guess these Amendments don't protect gov't employees then?

Why?

Because they're against him and his absurd POV.

So he wants to get rid of them, then replace them with yes men and women among his loyal supporters, and then brag about how everything is working an not a problem at all, just because he's got stooges falsifying the truth to make him look better then what he really is an that nothing he's doing is bad, wrong, or in any way harmful.

My take at least. ;)

Why do I get the feeling that will be Ryan's general reaction to Trump the first 2/3 weeks of his presidency? :hai:

As for Megyn Kelly. Why do I get the feeling this is an attempt to exploit her "interactions" with Trump during the republican primaries, or generally get under his skin?

Ten bucks says they'll claim the wall is/was a metaphor and no physical wall will actually be built. And it stands for improved immigration. Or insist Mexico will reimburse the cost.

In 2016, sexual assault reports in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn were up 62 percent (a jump of five reports) from the previous year, according to statistics reported by DNAInfo. In response to the rise in reported sex crimes, Peter Rose, who heads up the 94th Precinct of the New York Police Department, said at a community meeting that the majority were “not total abomination rapes where strangers are being dragged off the streets.”

This is why no one trust the media anymore.

Why word it that way?

A city gets 5 more rape cases and instead of just saying that you bring out a huge number like 62%. Making seems like it is a huge problem.

So apparently Meryl Streep took a jab or so at Trump, during the Golden Globes.

An like usual, it's sent the President Elect and his supporters into another hissy fit. One of which (as usual) the President Elect has taken to Twitter, once again.

Watching Obama's farewell speech not only made me cry but it made me even more disappointed that we're going from this amazing human being and his even more amazing wife to fucking Donald Trump and his porn star wife

So what are the odds we can convince congress and supreme court to ignore the 22nd amendment so Obama can serve Trumps term? :hmm:

Slim to non existent.

Unless something major happens or Trump does something that actually ticks off everyone ..... like even his supporters (if that's even possible).

Yeah I know, but I can dream can't I?

Part of me still hopes this is all just a bad dream I haven't woken up from. The other oscillates between saying "bend over here it comes" and asking why we're in a hand basket and if it's warm or just me? :hai:

It's warm. See that egg? It's definitely sizzling

It's quite the spectacle to see the Republican threaten heavy sanctions on Russia for cyberattacks, then say that the cyberattacks had no bearing on the election and is being overblown? If the latter is true, then how do you justify the former?

Oh. And now, Republicans are thinking of blowing the deficit. Yea.

“This sudden turnaround comes as a huge shock to absolutely nobody—at least nobody with any sense,” Krugman wrote. “All that posturing about the deficit was obvious flimflam, whose purpose was to hobble a Democratic president, and it was completely predictable that the pretense of being fiscally responsible would be dropped as soon as the GOP regained the White House.”

Does any of this really matter?

People knew or had every chance to know, full well what you'd be getting with Trump. An they still voted for him. Sure yes there was this an that, of which helped sway people as well elected Trump, cause people were being idiots.

Either way though. People made their bed and now they have to lay in it.

Only sad thing however about all this. Is that they're going to drag everyone else with them, as well take no responsibility if things go south.

Man, i was going to vote for trump until i realize how crazy the other side was. I really want to teach the right a lesson but it looks like they will not learn no matter what happens.

We are going to have to fight to keep our lives the same and hope 4 years from now the right will wake up. Which doesn't seems like it is going to happen.

Salt is still strong in this thread.

Boils down to a massive failure on the Clinton campaign to reach out to the disaffected and neglected, the same coalition that eagerly voted Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Until the left learns that condescension and dismissive attitudes towards working class voters won't win elections, no real, impactful ground will be gained.

Apart from that, white, college-educated voters also broke for Trump, which is quite remarkable. Says a lot about the distaste for the establishment.
