2016 sucked.

Who knows what awaits in 2017. Though while we all hope for the best.

I already know there's one downside to this new year, even before it began.

first off, happy new years everyone. i love this forum and most of the people on it. I hope 2017 is a great year for each and every one of you.

secondly. stay tuned fam. 2017 is the year of Retro.

big things in store. I'm currently in the process of writing one of the greatest works of fiction the world has ever seen. if your not reading already, Dragon Ball AS. the art work is crappy, but I'm working on improving myself every single day.

I got big plans for this story. and I have no intention of playing second fiddle to Akira. I'm aiming for the top.

Happy New Year, everyone!!

I may not know for certain what the future holds, but I do know a few things that I'm looking forward to this year. My 26th birthday in 26 days, my fraternity's district convention in March that will be held right here in my own backyard (practically--just a few towns over), seeing Foreigner live in concert (got my tickets already!), my fraternity's National Convention in Orlando this July, my teaching job (and looking for something more full-time within the field), and, lastly, revising and editing the manuscript of my first story ever (finished typing out the first draft last night!)

Overall, the future's looking pretty bright. I'm pretty excited. How about you?

I watched so much baseball today. Back-to-back games. I'm surprised that my short-attention span allowed me to do this.

What are you talking about? Baseball is like the most fun sport to watch ever. I could spend an entire day watching baseball and then maybe I'll get bored by the end...

Also you show up at like the worse hours when the SOT is like ubber dead... get your timing straighten out man D:

I like baseball, but I have (un-diagnosed) ADD or something similar.I don't quite now, but I do now I have trouble focusing or staying in one place for too long. I'm surprised that I stuck through with the second game since it was just Baltimore/San Diego.

I've noticed that. Why is no one here at 1AM EST? That's the only time I sneak onto the internet. Life is actually important now. D:

Well, if you do have a problem like that then that's another story. I think I have the opposite of that. I can get really focused on stuff randomly sometimes and completely shut down anything happening around me.

Well, we are usually around here at that time and even later. It's just you show up at a moment where nobody is here. Even if we come in later.

Gods, I just realized that I spelled "know" wrong twice in that last post. Sadly, I'm too tired/lazy/something to fix it...

That used to happen to me when I would read and sometimes when I would write my stories, depending on whichever plot I was working on that day. It isn't happening as much anymore, though.

I'm used to killing the SoT. That was unofficially my job on OMF 2.0. I'd post one thing, go to sleep, wake up the next morning and find that the thread had not advanced even a page since I'd left. xD

Yeah, probably.

I used to post stories in the art section on 2.0, but I never got around to updating them, even when I updated my Fictionpress and Fanfiction accounts.

Yeah. I got tired of the long username, though. That's why I tried something new. I still like the 4th Hokage, but I like the HTTYD characters better...and I didn't want a name that reflected that this time. I miss the purple username. It was neat and bright and distracting in the old CB. Too bad there will never be special username colors like that on this forum.

That's still pretty cool though. I'm amazing at coming up with unique and interesting plots/concepts to write but I'm just... lazy. And as a computer scientist, I'm more of a math person than an English person so...

I used to have a purple username for a while as well. But it all changed once the forum was updated and they added all these new features and groups, so I just let myself out of the scanlators group. And the only way for those colors to come back is if they actually build a scanlation group in the forum. But that'll be not too probable because we lack the site.

I always come up with plots, but I just never have enough resources to write them all down. I already have so many notebooks and, apparently, my flash drive is about full. Of course, a lot of the stuff on it was for student teaching and job applications. I've been meaning to get a second flash drive and see if that helps.

There were times when I thought about not using the purple, but everyone that I talked with regularly would be confused by it and I'd just end up using it again anyway. Yeah, I definitely don't see it coming back and I'm content with that.

lol Getting a second flash drive wouldn't hurt I guess. But that is a lot of writing... even for a small sized flash drive.

Oh that's right, you could change groups and get rid of the color. I forgot about that...

Oh, there's more than just writing. I have pics and music and PDF files and other larger items. I'm not one who likes to compress files because there's always a slight chance of corruption or so I've heard.

Yeah, but, at least from what I remember, most didn't do that.
