Kaneki is not that Edgelord with his Friends though, specially with Hinami who, despite going Shironeki, he threated her like a little sister.
Again, Tsukiyama is proof of this, he could have easily killed Tsukiyama twice, instead of baiting Kanae (as proven by the panels) by throwing him from the building. The question exactly is how Kaneki will save her, It is odd how Kaneki is "Investigating" Eto yet not revealing her identity, What more proof does he need after slicing her off from the buildings?, is not like Eto is a high figure in society (other than a novelist) that they need high evidence instead of a pincer attack (like they did with the Tsukiyama family)
