Hypnotic rhymes (especially nearing the end), nice theme, if overused (corrupt church/cult/religion), biblical overtone can sound a bit too much but still overall interesting.

 

@Grimmjagger

 

The meaning of the texture is too literal/obvious (the skin), on first reading, it sounded slightly more sentimental than i hoped for, but upon the third and fourth readings, I can sense the quiet despair and impotent sorrow evoked by the poem. Not bad, tbh.
