Is story according to the manga?
The anime is nice on its own, but has serious issues when compared to the manga. First of all, Nanami and Tomoe's romance doesn't go through the same level of development as it does in the manga. Also, Nanami's character development as a land god is completely left out. In fact, not only Nanami, but other characters as well had no coherency in their stories and lacked any development whatsoever, but that can be forgiven considering the short length of anime season. However, one of the very important shortcomings of the anime are that Nanami is shown as a fragile, weak and typically dependent female lead, unlike her brave, outspoken and diligent character in the manga.
