They were both set on the Gaku'ei army because they couldn't risk losing that fight.

Also, I suspect Gaku'ei might have been somewhat overrated (even by Ten). So far, plenty of strategies and moves have failed because someone involved in them was under or overestimated (example, Akou being an absolute beast last chapter). Same here with Shin and Gaku'ei. It's just bad luck for Gaku'ei that Shin's glaive breakthrough happened now.

I had a feeling that the Zhao army under Gakuei wouldn't do shit after that 1-hit kill. Like you serve that general so you would know how powerful he is compared to yourselves and to watch someone smaller then him cleave him in two. Hell I'm turning around and running the hell away, let alone charging him in vengeance.

Edit : Man I just realized how crippled the Zhao will be on the Qin Right wing now, that fear will settle in the other generals now too, they've underestimated Ouhon and now they underestimated Shin. I literally can't wait to see Riboku & Bananji's faces.

Honestly I still don't see how things are gonna get any better for Yontonwa or Heki. The Quanrang have proven themselves and that Zhao general isn't anywhere to be seen at the moment, which means he's planning something. That said I hope the guys not stupid enough to try to actually face Yontonwa, she'll wreak him for sure 1v1.

I think Heki is only doing as good as he is because Bunen or whatever his name is, is drawing him into a trap. Which Heki knows, but he figures, the better he performs, "the less he is aware of this" and thus the more ambitious he becomes and the more potent the Quanrong ambush will be.

But what Bunen probably doesn't realise is that the Mera tribe is waiting for this, for everyone to target Heki so they can swoop in and take him down because, to be perfectly honest, Bunen's head is currently worth more than Heki's.

At least that's sort of how I see this thing going. No way in hell is Heki taking down Bunen and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Also, love the Danto hype. Dude seems quite the powerhouse, to be able to lead like that from the front without showing any signs of abating assault.
