Still, I think it was nice to see her actually considering to date him. Sometimes I forget I'm reading a manga. It feels so realistic at times, lol.

Oh wow, I remember visiting a cheese factory some years ago, but we didn't manage to see all of that!

that's just great :D

It makes me want to eat cheese even more XD

Since you were speaking of romance, I was really glad too that Mikage accepted the date as a date. They're so cute together XD

As for Komaba, I really feel sorry for him...

Poor Nakajima-Sensei finally got back to his senses. And, of course, he's out to replace his beloved cheese. Tokiwa being brutally kicked out the moment he brought Natto for lunch was the funniest part of that chapter, though.

That Ichiro got broken to such an extent after loosing the round before they could go to Koshien is quite saddening, especially considering what he sacrificed to get that far.

I still believe there is more than just a mere depression in Komaba's case. I mean, he didn't look like the type to go sulk in a corner. He was even able to somehow handle his fathers death...

Oh wait... there was also that right? D:

There really is more to Komaba than we might think. Heck, just these stuff alone would suffice for a good, lengthy arc... I think

Got around to reading 60-62. Man, for their baseball bid to end the way it did had to have been heartbreaking. I felt SO sorry for the guy who missed the fly ball. A simple mistake that happened at the absolute worst time. Komba not going to school is interesting, so we'll see where that leads.

The cheese chapter was...informative. Got a little lost during parts of it, but I love chapters like that one.

This manga is truly amazing. It's educative AND interesting.

The only bad thing about it is the scanlation rate. -_-

Then there's me - the single person on this planet that doesn't like it at all.

But I exist, that's the important thing.

You should try giving it a new chance, now that more chapters are out.

Sure, it's totally different from FMA, but it's still the same genius mangaka who made it.

You can't go in expecting action and explosions because this is the farthest thing from that, but if you liked the characters and development of fma I think you will be pleased by it.

Now that I think of it, it was a while before I got into it. Probably around 5 chapters but maybe more. Anyways if you don't want to read it you don't have to but by going here and saying that I feel you are looking for reasons to read it.

It is confirmed that Gin no Saji has exceeded printing 5,200,000 copies.

Thats amazing! Do you know how many tankobon have been released?

Edit: I looked it up the answer is 6 volumes.

Holy crap... I absolutely didn't see that coming.... I'm at a loss of words...

BTW when I saw the announcement "the next chapter, winter arc begins" in the last page. I immediately come to realize that this manga is entering its final quarter... Four seasons... four parts...

Wait, why are you assuming the manga is going to come to an end? Did you forget that Hachiken is only a freshman? We have two more (manga) years of this for him!

I sure hope the author won't end it with the winter arc. It would be just too soon!

I think the manga could end with the Winter Arc, that arc can be quite long after all, and the story can be finished - Hachiken finds his place in life and so on.

I doubt it will end after the next arc. As Liar said, there's still two whole manga years left, and even if Hachiken should figure our what he wants to do with his life, it would still be interesting how he achieves it. In fact everyone has a long way to achieving their goals at this point, so there's lots of material for the author to work with.

I'm curious what Hachiken will make of the situation now, since this is the first time he really can't do anything to help. Will he hold back some more or will he work even harder at the things where he can make a change? Somehow I'm expecting the latter.
