Our favourite space-edo-samurai-ninja-planetdestroying-punmaking-almostplagiarizing-hilarious manga is here!

Three free-lancers, a dead fish-eyed samurai, an alien and glasses a part-time apprentice, are doing the strangest kind of work to earn a honest living.

Hilarity and inspiring life-lessons ensues.

HA. BEAT YOU TO ITTTTT.

Yeah. It's pretty meh. But still okay. I mean, Sorachi has so much to build on, yet he keeps introducing new 'characters'. OH WELL.

Still better than

I'm sad Viz dropped Gintama. My library carried it, so I read it legally, on paper, and in decent sized chunks :/  I made it all the way to chapter 202.

Anyway, what I've read of this series is just priceless. The Christmas/New years chapters (when they played a dating video game) is probably the funniest thing I have ever read. Even better then Bobobo.

I think the poop thing kind of added to their fight. It fit right in with the manga as a whole, especially for this current arc considering how Gintoki has had that sword up his butt most of the entire time.

I'm a sad panda. Stopped reading Gintama.

No, it's not for what you think. Or maybe it is <<

I don't like skipping chapters and did that once, then another bunch of missing chapter appeared right before the 400 chapters and I stopped there. I can't take it by myself when I don't know what happens in between. Anime is out of the question, I enjoy reading it and I don't bother with anime since years ago xD

Man, I wish I had money so I could buy all the volumes, only serie that actually made me laugh so much I'd probably need a lung transplant before I die from lack of oxygen.

Warning, the last parts of the chapter were a bit confusing, make sure you read it carefully. (In fact, I'm thinking of re-reading the chapter later with a clearer head)

Loving this new arc. Katsura's finally back in the limelight and it looks like he's getting his first serious character development since the Benizakura arc. Hopefully by the end of this arc Katsura and Ikumatsu will have gotten a little closer to their real life status(as lovers).

You know, all of the comedy and ridiculousness aside, this manga really does have a heart to it that I don't get out of much other series in WSJ. Even if that heart is primarily used for laughs, there's a sincerity to this manga that really has a tendency to catch me off-guard every now and again. I know that taking almost anything seriously in it can result in getting blind-sided by a joke in less than a page of reading, but it still carries a spirit of taking extradordinary circumstances and approaching them with an otherwise ordinary perspective, all while making these characters human in the sense that they're typically not parading themselves around as paragons of virtue, yet I still find myself wanting to follow their example.
