So am I the only one of the opinion that had the creators allowed toph to fight kuvira that she would have wiped the floor with her?

Put it this way: would you honestly be worried about Batgirl, if you could clown Wonder Woman, or Jean Grey?

Which isn't to downplay Toph, like she's some amateur. The woman is/was phenomenal as an Earthbender, even at an early age. But the fact is, Korra is far more skilled and powerful as a bender than Toph ever was, or ever will be.

If Kuvira could take her on (and not care if she used the Avatar state), I doubt Toph would be a concern for her. I even said that, back when everyone thought they were gonna fight in the Swamp. As much as I like Toph, in fight between her and Kuvira, my money would be on Kuvira.

I would rather fight kuvira than Amon

Me too, so long as there wasw no metal on my body at all.

You would after she gave you a couple of her friendship bracelets. :P

Nope. I agree completley and have from the start.

And for best villain give me Zaheer.

I do like making friends. 3:

I'd be surprised if anyone votes Book 1 as their favorite ATLA arc.

I'm not voting mostly because I can't really decide on a favorite from either one. :isee:

Still some highlight moments:

So I was kinda thinking of looking for videos of all the Korra moments that I liked too and I realized I just have too many from both series.

This isn't even half of my favorite shit from ATLA. xD

Yeah, Book 1 is just them getting into the ropes of things. Though it did have that cool finale.

Funny how a lot of people voted for Amon as best villain, but practically nobody is voting (yet) for book 1 as best season for Korra. It was that love triangle wasn't it? That bad huh?

Best part about the end of season 2 was the death of the dreaded love triangle. :lolxg:

Book 1 was very enjoyable, but man, that love triangle was annoying.

Nothing like Thundercats though, so there's that.

Anyway, the last I want to hear about is shipping....

I'd be surprised if anyone votes Book 1 as their favorite ATLA arc.

Somebody might.

Though not to suggest that Book 1 for ATLAB was bad or anything. It was actually a good start, with some great stuff here an there through out it, straight on till the end (like when Zuka A.K.A The Blue Spirit, broke in an freed Aang from Zhao an his men, or when Roku aided Aang an the others in escaping Crescent Island, etc).

Me though, I voted for Book 3.

Learning about Roku an Sozin, more of Zuko's development, Aang's whacked out dream, Day of Black Sun, the Southern Raiders, Boiling Rock, The Beach (yes a beach episode, that doesn't suck or just serve as nothing but fanservice! Shocking!!!), Ember Island Players, all the goodness of Sozin's Comet (though while I understand it an all, it does still irk me some how it concluded with Aang getting an easy way out, rather than accepting the ability to make hard choices and decisions), an yeah .. Azula an Toph epic'ness ( :D).

how a lot of people voted for Amon as best villain,

I think you mean as "a" best villain, rather than what comes off as assuming that Amon was voted as thee best villain.

Cause Zaheer has more votes than him, just so you know ;)

that love triangle was annoying.

I agree the romance for 1 and 2 Books of Korra, wasn't all that great at first.

Not that I enjoy it entirely now, but I can tolerate it more so than before.

An I can do that now, after realizing how imperfect it was, and how from my opinion and experience, it goes to show that not every relationship is going to be perfect like in most other works. Y'know how while sure there's some bumps to maybe be had in relationships, it mostly always ends up being thee relationship an bond that never breaks type thing. In other words that in most works, the first relationship is the one that never dies or ends no matter what, and the two characters will always end up together, etc. But regardless, this is something you get a lot of in fictional works, especially kids an young adult shows.

In LoK, it took (again from my opinion) a more realistic take on romance an all, in how it's not perfect and things aren't always going to work out, which leads to breaking ups an people going their own ways or finding newer people.

Which overall is something I can appreciate in them doing.

I take the LoK love triangle in the same vein as Aang learning energy bending.

Understandable but still irksome.

I'm torn between Books 2 and 3 for 'ATLA', because I liked the intrigue of season 2 and the finale was right up there with the conclusion of 'The Empire Strikes Back'. But season 3 gave us a deeper look at Zuko and the FN, in general, which showed they weren't inherently evil. And the entirety of the 'Sozin's Comet' arc had me glued to the screen. So I really have a hard time deciding which was better.

As for 'LoK', I'm probably one of the few who actually liked 'Book 2: Spirits', because of how grounded it was with all the diplomatic tension between the two Water Tribes and Varrik's schemes to profit from it. Plus, we learned about Raava and relived the origins of the Avatar line and we witnessed an extremely rare cosmic event: Harmonic Convergence.

But --! I'd still have to give it to 'Book 4: Balance':

For the original series i'd say the best book is Fire. For LOK the only real options are Change or Balance, as I considered the first two to be mostly garbage. Overall i'd say it goes to Change. Best moment in LOK, just because lol, then still resides with my man Tenzin

I can't force you to believe me that's your choice. People live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true. That's how they define "reality". But what does it mean to be "correct" and "true?" Merely vague concepts...their reality may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to simply be living in their own world, shaped by their beliefs?-Itachi Uchiha

Voted for Book 2 in ATLA. Book 3 was epic for it's action and beautiful animation but as far as telling a story was concerned, I thought Book 2 did it the best.

As for Korra, I had to go with Book 3. The most perfect balance between action and story out of the 4 seasons. Plus there was Tenzin's crowning moment of awesome.

If it's Shippuden Gaara then Toph might be fucked, unfortunately. But that's just my luck when it comes to Death Battles. I think Charizard VS Blastoise VS Venasaur, Kirby VS Buu, and Deadpool VS Deathstroke were the only times where the guy I was rooting for won.

Why bother? The vast majority of shounen characters are ridiculously overpowered. The Avatar cast is only 'peak human' at best. Toph doesn't stand a chance.

Exactly. If they take away his Bijuu then Toph might have a chance against pre-timeskip Gaara but that's about it. I don't even know if Aang can take Gaara
