Wouldn't be too sure about that, If Zaraki did what would be Ichigo's purpose during the whole story?

What purpose did he have at the end of the story, considering his Quincy and Hollow powers ended up amounting to nothing?  :<_<:

He was in a weakened state, and his Hollow and Quincy powers had been stolen.  Since Yhwach had his powers momentarily taken away from him, any of the five War Potentials could have killed Yhwach at that moment.  Hell, it would have been better if Uryu had followed up the Still Silver Arrow with Licht Regen to erase Yhwach at the moment he was depowered.  But no.  Kubo had to have his forcibly engineered symbolism, and he had to give Ichigo his revenge, despite Uryu having as much reason, if not more so, to be the one to kill Yhwach.

In the case of Zaraki, Yhwach was shown in the panels of Unohana talking about Zaraki having new opponents to fight, but all he ended up doing was being stalled (like the rest of the Captains) first by Pernida, and then by Gerard.  Let Ichigo wallow in self-pity over having his emotional crutch broken, and have someone who wouldn't have their fighting spirit so easily be broken take over the fight.

The Yhwach fight was the only legit fight that he won, but he still had outside assistance. Lame.

Take away Kenpachi's fighting ability and I'm sure he would lose his fighting spirit also.

Boy, have you forgotten that Zaraki was kicking ass and taking names like the savage relative of Goku long before he knew the name of his Zanpakuto?

and that was due to what?

His reiastu, Ywach took away both Ichigo's sword ability and reiastu.

Kenpachi wouldn't be a threat to anyone had Ywach did the same to him.

Even without reiatsu kenpachi has immense physical strength. He shattered Orihimes shield-thingy with a normal stomp during the Nnoitra fight and he constantly manhandles larger beings. He would be a threat to a lot of people even if he just used a normal katana and simply swung it. With two hands.

He did that thanks to reiastu strength.

Physical Strength is useless, its all about the reiastu imbuned. Remember when Ichigo first arrived to Soul Society and fought against that giant?

Well Ichigo was able to over power Jidanbo but Ichigo himself couldn't physically lift that gate.

Kenpachi was always known to have overwhelming reiatsu, but when they announced the 5 WPs he was noted for his fighting strength.
