Wait, there wasn't a topic?

I guess it was in a situation like soul cartel or Black Haze.

My problem with this series is not reader friendly. got confused by what Glow mean (I assume it means clan head?), and didn't realize the MC had step brothers.

This manhwa is pretty good, we started a wikia project to help out with what we can http://red-storm.wik.../wiki/Main_Page , it's still fairly new, we could use some help with editing.
Glow would be similar to Chieftain. Red Storm is definitely a must read, especially with mass releases these days. It's addicting.

Take care, hope you like Red Storm if you try it out, and hope to see you at wikia!

I would help, but I seriously don't understand the politics and leadership to mention.

I guess it was in a situation like soul cartel or Black Haze.

My problem with this series is not reader friendly. got confused by what Glow mean (I assume it means clan head?), and didn't realize the MC had step brothers.

basically the chief (glow) has like 3 wives. Its not that hard to understand. I really like the rival brothers and the MCs goal of revenge. I kinda feel bad for the one he wants to take revenge on, but I would really like to reserve judgement on that until it gives a flashback to show what went down there.

I would help, but I seriously don't understand the politics and leadership to mention.

I can give you a better understanding of the politics in this. There are multiple desert factions (one of which has that main group led by the MC's enemy.) there is another enemy in this which seems to want to rule over the other people. This faction is the enemy faction of the tribe which leads the warriors ceremony(an event used to decide your position as a warrior in the desert). The official status of the tribe that leads the warrior ceremony is a neutral stance. There is an empire which is allied with the MC's desert tribe in a trade alliance. The trade substances are oil, magic stones, and iron. (the desert tribe feels slighted by the unfairness of the iron to oil ratio for the trade because of how hard it is to protect the oil.) The empire is planning to go to war with yet another nation as well. People of the desert tribes believe the people of the empire to be weaker than themselves due to the harshness of the desert.

The MC is a "chosen one" chosen by one of the creatures that is sacred to the tribe that leads the warriors ceremony, this automatically makes him an enemy of the unknown group that is against the tribe that leads the warriors ceremony.

Magic stones are primarily used by the empire so far. (we have yet to see if any other nations use them.) The desert tribes prefer the use of totems.

I actually really like the fact that they don't just spell things out for you. It makes you pay attention more. It wouldn't say that it isn't reader friendly, things just aren't laid out on a silver platter for you. The story is the exposition. You figure things out as you go along.

@disastrousmaster I LOVE the rival brother dynamic in this. It actually feels more real. The brothers actually respect one another so there isn't some evil hated conniving brother secretly trying to kill his brother (thats left to the bitchwife). Pere is actually a very respectable character, which makes his struggle and their rivalry all the better.

I also really like how Jullian, even though he has the typical shonen MC personality traits (simple minded, strong willed, prideful, honorable, impulsive) he still has a lot of depth to him. He is wiling to learn, and his flaws are actually flaws. For instance,  his impulse actually caused real harm, not just saved the day like in every other story. His arrogance feels more real to me as well. He had never seen force before he met Noah, he got trained pretty much alone by an EXTREMELY arrogant master, and to his knowledge he was the only person who knew force. He was also the strongest person for his warriors ceremony. OF COURSE he feels arrogant.

The complexities of the government and tribes are very refreshing as well. Its not the "we go to war...then we fight...then we kill everyone and win" type thing. Nah son, there are rules here, and charging in like a mad man actually has consequences.

I could go on for days here but just to say, I find this Manwha awesome.

Praise. The. Sun. See, if Chuck Norris had a love child with Bruce Lee and that child was trained by the Spartans it just MIGHT have the absurd levels of badass testosterone found in Escanor's left testicle. Escanor is the epitome of pride and badassery and he has no issues with letting it be known. His mere presence has been enough to end some powerful baddies, and he will make sure any fool willing to challenge him knows how pathetic their feeble attempts are. OP is an understatement and he wears it so gracefully.

Agreed 100% on all fronts.

I cannot believe this manhwa doesn't have more of a readership and following!

the action is....a concept, idk what you would call good, but I love it, let me give an example...

there is at many points during the manga that there are giant melee events that happen, it's completely hectic and chaotic....

what took it for me was that during one of these giant free for alls, no one could say a word, it was silent and amazing to watch,

I even got a chuunin exam kind of feel during one of the arcs, it's impressive to me...

@Red Opus now I'm not entirely sure but I think Yullian just sensed Haisha getting serious. I don't think he called the young glow on purpose. He is a war god now so I would think it would be natural for him to sense when his friends are getting riled up ya know?

It both of it somewhat.

They just got special powers from the Warrior Cermony, so I assume this is haisha's. Remember that they just can reveal what power they have to anyone really.

Not to mention Yulian is war god so he has good sense, so definatly picked up on this.

Seriously though, anyone still keeping up with RS? if so, have any of you read Peerless Dad, the new-ish story set in the same universe as RS?

You really should read it, its quite good. It also has a lot of backstory for Noya, his granddaughter and the real world from where he is from.
