Was it ever confirmed what sex Mutsuki is? i can't remember.
I may have a odd or different way of looking at people. If someone has male genitalia then i call that person a "him" "he" "guy" whatever, same with a female. I don't see this whole "i feel like a Him/Her". what does that even mean? Does feeling like a man mean you're more aggressive, stern, macho? I don't see how a woman can't have these feelings too.
I guess what i am saying is that a woman wanting to be looked at as a "him" seems more like an unnecessary label to fit in? I don't know though just my opinion. If a woman wants to be macho or act like a normal male then just do it, don't worry what others think.
Mutsuki doesn't want to act or dress like a girl for whatever reason, and she/he shouldn't have too, Mutsuki wanting to be called a man i would assume would be to avoid awkward situations.
Him and Her are just labels......
The sex was confirmed a couple of times in flashbacks and perhaps most notably by Urie, who could "smell" her menstruation.
I can see, what your point is. But if, for example, a woman says she sexually identifies as a man, I would call her "him" in conversation. I don't know why, since I wouldn't say "him" straight to the trans-gender's face, as the third-person is really impolite.
Meaning it's kinda redundant in all fairness. I think it may harkon back to, when I was a member of a forum discussing a lot about the LGBT and sexual identity.
People could get a bit weirded out, confused or even enraged, if you didn't use proper labels.
