Not sure if just me or if others have this, but whenever I am on the main page my notifications refuse to load, however if I go to my profile my notifications load instantly. Is this just me, or do other people have this. Just want to know before I try checking things on my end because I am lazy.

I have the same thing. I just click on the banner to update the page and it works. (Basically you just have to redirect yourself to another page on the site I guess) (doesn't work with update through chrome).

mantis had the same happening, and it happened to me too

it's caused by your browser loading the forum with http, and not with https
once the forum is loaded with https (by clicking anywhere on it after the first load) the notifications all work and load, same for the members status pop-up

it's caused by the https (or lack of it)
the first time i load the forum i've it as onemangaforums.com, and notifications, messages, user statuses don't load
after i click anywhere or reload it using the banner it becomes https://onemangaforums.com and notifications and user status load fine then

https should have been enabled recently, so our browsers still have memorized the site as only onemangaforum.com without the https part
removing onemangaforum from the suggested links should fix this, or you could paste https://onemangaforums.com sometimes, so it becomes memorized by the browser and it's going to be used in the place of onemangaforum.com (without https)

thanks, I just fixed it by manually typing it in and loading the page, followed by bookmarking that and deleting my old bookmark. all is well now.
